the 24-hour getaway
Monday, May 26
Who says you need a full holiday weekend to recharge? I just pulled off the ultimate one-night getaway to Costa Palmas—and somehow squeezed a whole vacation’s worth of vibes into 24 golden hours (and one very edited carry-on suitcase). As soon as I arrived, I made a quick switch from plane mode (Amo tank, Joe's Jeans, above) to beach club-ready in a breezy Zara dress and Ancient Greek Sandals, below, (yes, I changed in the spa because priorities). From there? Read on...
Sun-soaked lounging in a beaded Love Stories bikini, Thatch heart necklace, Vitamin A linen shirt (on sale today!), and Chloe bag.
Golden hour shopping in a balloon-sleeved blouse and mini skirt (inspired by this). Scored the beaded choker for $150 at the hotel boutique!
An alfresco dinner at Mozza, cooked by Nancy Silverton herself, decked out in H&M, Chanel sandals, an Hermes clutch and my stay-on Adina Reyter baubles.
Fish tacos and heaps of guacamole on the golf course in a studded dress, B-Low the Belt chain belt, and Land's End monogrammed tote bag.
Back in LA... for now!
MDW M.O.
Friday, May 23
Massimo Dutti has me rethinking my usual MDW M.O. Instead of the airy dresses I’ve been waiting all winter to wear, I’m gravitating toward shoulder-baring halter tops and—yes—pants. Specifically, what you see here: the red knit with tie detail, above, the white cotton split top, and the open back halter. The Reformation also has an elegant one-shoulder on offer. The following dresses also have my attention: the boho butter yellow maxi and the pleated strapless. Plus, a cute summer evening bag to go with it all!
pulling it together
Wednesday, May 21
It's a busy week, filled with lots of milestones (graduation! birthdays! 4PM dinner at Pizza Sei!)--and I'm dressing for it with pieces that go from day to night, including my new Zara, above and below. I'm also inspired by the following Dries Van Noten pinstriped linen blazer, the pink balloon sleeve blouse, and the By Malene Birger fringed mini dress (worn as a top!) and trench coat, all below, plus this St. Agni ($325!) top that I'll wear with jeans and elegant trousers, the outfit-punctuating necklaces by Heaven Mayhem and Julietta (last two pics) and non-stop-running around Loeffler Randall shoes.
flower power
Tuesday, May 20
More love for NYC style muses Leandra Cohen and Courtney Grow, who’ve been floral brooches to their knits, leather jackets, and now—summer tanks. Their knack for making granny-chic cool has officially caught fire. Case in point: Tory Burch (also NYC-based) is hopping on the brooch bandwagon with blossom-bedazzled tank tops in her latest drop. See here--or pop on one of these from Etsy to anything you'd like.

flipping out
Monday, May 19
It’s official: flip flop season is here, and this time, it's not a soft launch. No more easing into summer with discreet slides or barely-there sandals. I'm talking a full, hard launch of flip flops, worn unapologetically with everything: tailored trousers, crisp shirting, oversized blazers, breezy slip dresses, and even denim-on-denim. Yes, the humble flip flop has graduated far beyond its beach-day origins, becoming the ultimate minimalist-meets-ironic fashion staple of the season. What makes this flip flop moment different? It's about juxtaposition: pairing the laid-back simplicity of a thong sandal with pieces that scream effort—elevated, intentional, refined. The sandals of the season: The Row’s (about-to-sell-out) Dune sandal, above, and Jamie Haller's San Diego slide (vintage SoCal vibes and crafted in supple Italian leather with couture-level care). Meanwhile, Courtney Grow (last pic) is opting for dupes procured on Amazon. An inexpensive pair of black thongs by Tony Bianco or Havianas never fails.

scarf belts
Saturday, May 17
It’s giving fashion insider, it’s giving Leandra Cohen energy, it’s giving “I'm on it." You’ve seen it: a silky vintage square, knotted nonchalantly through belt loops, maybe even tied over a blazer or low-slung on a maxi dress. It's the anti-belt belt. I trace the trend’s roots back to Leandra Cohen, above, queen of offbeat elegance and layering sorcery. She’s been styling scarves as belts since the Man Repeller days—always with a twist (sometimes literally). Now it’s re-emerging across street style snaps and style-savvy feeds, a nod to those who love fashion with a little subtext. The key to pulling it off: Bold prints, vintage Hermes, or even an old bandana. Tie at the side. Let it dangle. It's all about the nonchalance--and executed easily with this, this and this.
staud
Friday, May 16
Staud's summer collection just dropped, and the campaign has me mentally packing a bag. Shot somewhere tropical (my guess is Mexico!) with pineapples stacked high, coconuts cracked open curbside, and vegetable carts rolling by—it nails my laid-back, sun-drenched summer vibe. The clothes hit that sweet spot between relaxed and intentional: easy but striking separates, off-the-shoulder dresses, backless tops that play well with the heat. Everything looks like it belongs in a suitcase bound for anywhere humid and heaving with fun. I'm in! And packing this, this, this and this.
drop shop
Thursday, May 15
One of those H&M drops just landed—the kind that looks so good, no one believes it’s actually H&M. The major score that has my friends low-key mad for not buying one (or five more) for them. So, consider this your heads-up: pounce, people! I snapped up the fringed bag, above, the crochet skirt, below, the crab bag charm, the knit pullover, the t-shirt cover-up, and, oopsie, this already-sold out dress. Go forth here!
