My twin sister and I turned up the glitz for Gwyneth Paltrow's holiday party last night. Sequins were in order for the mounds of caviar and glasses of bubbles served! (Her resplendently elegant home also warranted the sparkle!) Coco stole my old gold Asos dress (available in this color now) and threw a Saks Potts sweater over it, while I wore a years-old embellished Zara over a current season Goop dress! Since a little more sparkle never hurts, I'm now eyeing this and this!

If my kids had their way, there would be at least a dozen new sneakers under the Christmas tree. If I had my way, I'd run around shopping for them in these newly trendy kicks by New Balance. Evidently, all the cool London girls are wearing them (pictured!). See other colors here.

Somehow holiday shopping for my nearest and dearest inevitably results in shopping for yours truly, and, truth be told, I am not mad about it. While I was snapping up a few things for my niece at Anthropologie, I came across the above Paco Rabanne-inspired skirt, the pearl-embellished button-down, below, and the sequin jumpsuit. Yes, I'll take them all, thank you!

When a friend of mine sold her company for a kajillion dollars a few months ago, I told her to buy this pretty yet pricey Carolina Herrera dress to celebrate in--and so I could borrow it, too!
