Lately, my Hawaiian girlfriends--A.K.A., my favorite swimwear pros--have been working bodysuit-like one-pieces that go from surf breaks to supermarket shopping and everywhere in between. Somehow I managed to lose TWO pairs of sandals in Hawaii last week. I quickly made up for the loss with these new chained cuties from Zara, above, Chloe!

I am the proud owner of too-many but much-loved inexpensive dresses. Which I suspect you know well by now! In any case, I recently came across a motherlode of great options that might pique the proud cheap dress owner in you. There's a high concentration of inexpensive dresses in my closet, and I am proud of them all!

One telltale sign that the world is rumbling back to life: bumper-to-bumper traffic on PCH! Makes me want to stay ensconced at home, especially in the new Urban Outfitters's curved boucle chair, above! And loaf around in these cute $40 Levi's jeans and this billowy Free People blouse (I also love this one from Farm Rio) and, while I'm at it, pick through the virtual sales racks at Nordstrom. Happy Hump Day!

Bikinis and shorts suits don't exactly go together like bread and butter, but, hey, I'm all for going with the flow! Perhaps this new cover-up trend is rooted in pandemic PTSD? In any case, the shorts set is thoroughly relaxed and easy and ours for the taking. Shall we pull it off with these cute sets from Apiece Apart, Ganni, Birds of Paradis, Antik Batik, Loretta Caponi, and Soot the Label (above)? I say let's go for it!

My sister hit Cabazon's designer outlet mall on her way home from Palm Springs the other day and scored the most excellent pair of last-season (and sold out everywhere!) Loewe jeans. Now that the pangs of jealousy have subsided, I'm happy to one-up her with this epic white jean score from Khaite. Take that, Coco!
