leather weather
Wednesday, March 3
A friend of mine turned up the other day with this new luxe-looking bag slung over her shoulder. The quilted monogram read DESIGNER to me! But I was wrong! It's by Leatherology and it costs under $300! How chic?!
feeling groovy
Tuesday, March 2
Free People named this dress the Feeling Groovy maxi, and as I have one, I can attest: it does indeed make you feel 100% groovy! Full disclosure: I also have it in this color. Both will be in constant rotation this spring!
no sweat
Tuesday, March 2
While streaming workouts haven't been the best for my muscles or mojo, they have at least upped my workout style game. Tracy Anderson recently turned me on to Venezuelan-based Port de Bras, a ballet-inspired athleisure line that's also hooked statement-makers like Blair Edie, above, and Nasiba Adilova. The leggings and ruffled sports bras are next level cute, plus they're rendered in toxin-free, 100% biodegradable polyamide and boast anti-bacterial properties too. Shop my go-to's here.
maison mayle
Monday, March 1
It's quite possible that I am Maison Mayle's biggest fan--apart from my sis! We've long been obsessed (since 1999), and rightfully so: the line embodies feminine, alluring, flattering, downtown-cool like no other. And the new spring collection is especially spectacular, replete with gorgeous lace, plunging necklines, vibrant florals, pretty ruffles and fluttery sleeves. PLUS: The most amazing, pile-it-on jewelry! Seriously, I could not ask for more--except that I want more of it in my closet! Herewith some of my favorite looks. Shop it all here!
spring jeans
Friday, February 26
This spring calls for a new white jean silhouette: high-waisted, loose-fitting, and leg-lengthening. To sum up: super flattering. The pair by Zara, above, is perfection, but so are these by Slvrlake, Goldsign, and Citizens of Humanity.
rothy's
Friday, February 26
For better or worse, I'm a form-over-function girl. As in: I prioritize style over comfort. But then a brand like Rothy's comes my way and brilliantly and equally serves up both--and is planet-friendly, to boot! (Shoes and bags are made with repurposed plastic water bottles.) My favorite shoes right now are these pointy-toe, crazy-comfy flats pictured, which, no joke, I wear around the clock. They're also weirdly flattering--something about its shape that makes my big size-10 feet cuter! I also adore the lug-my-life-around carry-alls, like the camo tote and the super chic reversible(!) catch-all in last pic. Check out the collection here.
billowy blouses
Thursday, February 25
LA-based artist Jazy Goh has spring's billowy blouse nailed! Proof here! I love the Shona Joy balloon-sleeve, above, the Ministry of Style, below, and how it's unbuttoned down to there! Plus: the yellow embroidered Seven Wonders, second snap down, this truly perfect white button down from Free People, this sexy Staud, and this pretty ruffled Doen.
spring sezane
Wednesday, February 24
Thank you, Sezane, for making all the boho-sexy, Isabel Marant-ish looks I want to wear this spring--for less! Among my faves, the $180 wrap mini dress, above, the embroidered high-collared shirt, below, this balloon-sleeve lightweight sweater and this gorgeous broderie anglaise blouse. Shop the new spring collection here!
rain or shine
Wednesday, February 24
Poster girl for Scandi style, Pernille Teisbaeck, above, is doubling down on the the trench coat trend this spring. No need to wait for April showers to do the same! I'd layer on any of these under $200 coats by H&M, Mango (above) and BB Dakota.
