It's like this week is serving up the one-two punch of a Thanksgiving meal! First there's the turkey (blammo, Net-a-Porter sale!) then dessert (bring it on, Shopbop!). Maybe it was New York's cold, wet snow that pelted me in the face or LA's still smoky skies that has me longing for lustrous sunshine and a holidaze. Who knows, but I do know: I have found some (instant) gratification today in Zimmermann's resort-chic pieces being on sale at Netaporter (it's on, folks!), such as the striped cutie, above, along with these other pretties from Lisa Marie Fernandez, Ulla Johnson and Ganni. I may be the only one in New York City anticipating the season's first snowfall today--and one of the least prepared. Meaning: I didn't pack the right/enough clothes. I should've brought way more warm layers, including my just-purchased Max Mara blazer (also here), above, along with more cozy knits, such as this Mango checked puffer, this Alexa Chung turtleneck, this Topshop faux fur jacket, this All Saints sweater, this cute Tommy Hilfiger puffer, and this Asos skirt and sweater set.

A close (stylish) friend turned me on to Leatherology's cross-body bags--and now I'm thoroughly obsessed with the entire line (wallets, jewelry organizers, duffels, eyeglass cases, pouches, etc!), because they're (a) inexpensive; (b) personalized/customizable (read: endless options); (c) make for the best (holiday) gifts; and (d) straight-up chic! The only challenge: figuring out which color combo I like best. Thoughts?!

Sweater weather is looking particularly bright right now, with this season's go-to knits rendered in eye-popping rainbow hues. (P.S. The more hand-knit looking, like the one-of-a-kind one, above, the chicer!) Here is one skirt--and all the reasons to buy it! I love the various ways it works: with flats, boots, slouchy sweaters, sophisticated button-downs, casually and festively. And its slinky, bias cut is universally flattering. I also adore these other ones that are similar from Anine Bing, Reformation, T by Alexander Wang, and Valencia & Vine.

In Rome I explored a few hidden treasures, including the not-open-to-the-public Bagno di Diana, housed in the private apartments of Palazzo Doria Pamphilj al Corso, and the breathtaking terrace at Hotel Eitch Borromini (a palace built in the 17th century serving the best cacio e peppe ever). Another major thing I discovered: Shiseido's Benefiance Eye Mask! Okay, not Roman at all, but colossally impressive, in my book! I was exhausted before I even boarded the plane to Rome, and the pasta and wine didn't help my jet lagged-appearance. But, I'm telling you this under-eye treatment made a monumental difference. I have a hunch that I'm late to the party on this one, but just in case there are other stragglers out there, you must know this works magic!
