Random but true: I binge wear white t-shirts. For weeks, I'll wear them incessantly, then, all of a sudden, abstain completely. This summer, my white tees (yes, plural) will be out in full force. To counterbalance a statement skirt or print shorts. To stay comfortable without compromising coolness. And perhaps, most importantly, to make my get-the-kids-to-camp-on-time-routine a bit easier. As we all know finding the right t-shirt is no simple task, as nailing all the details--fit, fabric, sleeve length--can be complex. But I've already hit upon a few ideal ones from Hanes x Karla, Madewell, Bassike (organic, and has a cult following), Veronica Beard, and Vince.

I ushered in cover-up season in some winners at the beach this weekend, including the new eyelet J.Crew, above (which comes in 4 colors, btw), this Icons dress, below, which works wonderfully over a bikini!), this And Other Stories wrap skirt, and this Mes Demoiselles maxi (on sale!).

I bought the above green pleated Asos cutie before it sold out a few months ago and have had it in constant rotation ever since. (I recently wore it in Cabo, unbuttoned over a bikini.) Fortunately, Asos just re-issued the dress in white, which, of course, I snapped up pronto! It's bound to go fast...

My sister called me yesterday to report that she had managed to snap up a bounty of on-sale goodies both online and in person (by sending her assistant!)--all from a photo shoot in Malibu. I commended her on this dexterous feat, then followed in her digital footsteps. My first and only stop: Nordstrom's, where I was overwhelmed/impressed (as was my sis!) with the plethora of primo designer finds. Did I mention that my cleanse also entails four-hour workouts every day? Ug, yes. So, you can just imagine how excited I'll be this Friday afternoon when I get to ditch my leggings, sneakers and sports bras for a long-weekend spate of summer dress debuts, including the show-stopping yellow maxi, above, along with these now on-sale lovelies from Zimmermann, Anjuna, and Victoria Beckham! Don't judge me: I'm cleansing this week. No sugar, gluten, soy, caffeine, alcohol, animal protein, or dairy. I'm trying to compensate for what my BFF calls the "98% vacationing" I've been doing (Tulum, Caribbean, Mexico, Sonoma, etc)! That being said, I'm not completely depriving myself of all of my vices, specifically sale shopping!
