My friends know that I'll happily whirl through multiple outfit changes per day, but there are (rare!) times when I just want to stay in my pajamas from sunrise to the next. For these occasions, I'm now thinking I might try this: throwing on an easy, breezy (read: nightgown-like) slip dress with a structured blazer and casual sandals. It's a look that's both sexy and sharp at once--and best of all comfortable. I could easy slip by in these dresses from Mango (above), Sincerely Jules, The Reformation, Tibi and Alexander Wang.

There's no better magic than luscious red lips and there's no better proof than French model/designer Jeanne Damas' signature crimson pout. Her secret: Mixing various shades of red lipstick (MAC Viva Glam and Russian Red, to be exact) and applying it with her fingers over her lips for a more natural effect. I'm pulling off my own "natural" version right now with Beautycounter's new Red Color Intense, a bold, lip-plumping, super flattering scarlet-coral hue that's made from a safe plant-based formula. It has the best matte finish and goes from day to night. And I don't even need to use my fingers to make it happen!

While Hollywood served up only in-the-movies kind of glamour last night (Lupita Nyong! Jennifer Lawrence! Gal Gadot!), Paris offered its own compelling fashion line-up over the weekend, featuring stylish looks we can (thankfully) make a reality. The stars of Paris Fashion Week: French Vogue's editors, above, who wear easy-to-emulate outfits founded in everyday-ready and enduringly-chic staples. Currently, these staples include perfectly faded, straight-legged indigo like this, this and this, scrunchy neutral boots such as these and these, menswear-inspired blazers like this, this, and this, and shearling jackets. As you may know, I'm a huge fan of the New York-based clothing line Veronica Beard and its founders, Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard (they are sisters in law!).
