On the last night of my girls trip to Croatia this past summer, a friend trotted out the cutest/most flattering pair of white Ulla Johnson overalls that sent the other eight of us into a must-buy-too frenzy. As soon as I returned to the States I searched high and low for a pair, but alas, they were sold out. Well, I'm going to lick that still festering wound today by pre-ordering from Ulla Johnson's Spring 2017 collection, chock full of must-have pieces, including the ruffled top, above, and the striped dress, below. I also love this open-back jumpsuit, this crochet dress, and this ruffle midi.

The graphic t-shirt trend that swept New York (see last four pics) has evidently sailed across the pond to London Fashion Week. Attendees are capitalizing on the tee's quick and easy ability to hip-ify any outfit, often making it the focal point. The September swirl has my social calendar kicking into high gear, with an upcoming slew of swanky events. Some of them will require my out and out finest. I love the above Banana Republic dress, which Olivia Palermo has cleverly turned into a flowy top! Normally, since this piece just walked down the Spring 2017 runway, I would be waiting until next spring to buy it. While New York's Spring 2017 catwalks are calling for neons, florals and stripes, the sidewalks are currently serving up loads of gingham.
