Spring's mercurial temps calls for transitional footwear, and in London, my fashion friends are wisely opting for beige block heels. Of course, these neutral-hued shoes go with just about everything (except pieces leaning toward the matronly!), and its practical heel allows for uptown-to-downtown, breathe-in-the-spring-air jaunts. For Throw Back Thursday, I thought I'd share this snap, taken earlier this month in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. A few girlfriends and I escaped LA for a few days of sun and siesta-ing (and swimming in the sea with whales at a safe distance!). Dolce & Gabbana's pom pom-tastic spring sandals, above, may be over the top (with prices to match) but you can't discount their happy-go-lucky, whimsical vibe.
