Someone recently asked me which bag I’m taking on vacation this summer. The real question is: which bags? Inspired by Lucy Williams’ recent Lake Como getaway—a true masterclass in bag rotation (with this, this and this)—I’m packing a mini bag wardrobe. Think statement-makers that are also suitcase-friendly: soft, slouchy, malleable styles that slip into one another like Russian dolls. Beach tote holds the carryall, which hides the clutch, which tucks away the tiny top-handle. Get it?
