The September swirl has my social calendar kicking into high gear, with an upcoming slew of swanky events. Some of them will require my out and out finest. I'm working this off-the-shoulder shirt dress during these last summer days.

Two days back in the grind and I'm still dressing like I'm on vacation! For me, there's something leisurely about throwing on an easy dress, like the one above from (which is really a jumpsuit in disguise!), and going about my daily business. I feel like I'm still a bit on holiday--or at the very least extending the high of it. So, naturally, I am now poking around for more holiday dresses that work well at home. My heart yearns for this lacy --which blogger Jessica Stein, above, beautifully wears backwards--but, even though it's on sale, my wallet shudders at the price. Thankfully, a similar, less expensive version from just popped on Shopbop and, what's more, it's designed with the seductive crisscross detailing in front!
