Two days back in the grind and I'm still dressing like I'm on vacation! For me, there's something leisurely about throwing on an easy dress, like the one above from (which is really a jumpsuit in disguise!), and going about my daily business. I feel like I'm still a bit on holiday--or at the very least extending the high of it. So, naturally, I am now poking around for more holiday dresses that work well at home. Just off the best summer weekend yet--water falls, rainbows, water slides!--and now on to fall boots with this chic bow-trimmed update.

My heart yearns for this lacy --which blogger Jessica Stein, above, beautifully wears backwards--but, even though it's on sale, my wallet shudders at the price. Thankfully, a similar, less expensive version from just popped on Shopbop and, what's more, it's designed with the seductive crisscross detailing in front!

Fall is calling for a rainbow-hued lineup of heels, so I am stepping ahead with these purple pretties. (P.S. I'm also enamored with the navy version too!)

Monday's got me fantasizing about wearing this fun, fringed day-to-night dress in a faraway, sun-soaked land...

Of all the Instgram pics I saw from last night's Serpentine Gallery party in London, it's this one of fashion editor that stood out from the rest. Her asymmetrical dress shows just the right amount of skin and the ruffles add good evening drama (though I could easily see this dress during the day with flat, lace-up gladiators). Red sandals amp up things perfectly. What's more, it's the kind of winning outfit that can be worn again and again. Well done!
