My favorite fashionistas Courtney Grow and Lauren Santo Domingo have convinced me that I need an oversized white denim jacket in my wardrobe immediately. Courtney favors the Khaite (find it for $140 less here!), whereas Lauren works Loulou Studio. These by The Row and AGOLDE are also worth considering!

I'd guess with about 99.9% certainty that I'll never tire of wearing the above Phillip Lim denim and lace slip dress, with flats and heels, or topped with a oversized blazer, jean jacket or slouchy cardigan. The feather dress, below, is also a show-stopper, that I'll also dress up and down (with an extra big jean jacket and flat sandals!)

London-based Michelle Driscoll turned me on to my new summer jeans by Rails. I love how distinctly different they are from the white jeans already in my closet, thanks to the whimsical patchwork and cropped hem. They'd look cute with boots and a blazer too, come next winter!

Seriously, though, if I had a dollar for every compliment I've received on my Dorsey lab-diamond earrings, I'd be blinging like nobody's business! They are really THAT fantastic--so much so that they never ever come off my ears. They also look like a million bucks, but they are actually under $200. I also turn them sideways for an ear-crawler effect! Oh, and just so you know, I'd spend those extra dollars on the just-out bracelets, below! (Hint: Mother's Day is less than 2 weeks away!)

It's always fun to randomly run into an old friend, but even more so when the run-in turns into a right-there-and-then shopping spree. Such was the case this past weekend when I encountered a friend picnicking on the beach, who had stylishly toted everything in the above and below striped market bags. Given their chicness, I assumed they were Marni, but learned that she had procured them from Urban Outfitters, for a mere $44 a pop (the last tote pictured is $26!). I'm inclined to use them not only for the beach but beyond!

The dresses I appreciate most are the ones that offhandedly execute the kind of glamor that others take lots of primping to get right. My recent faves (above and below) come from the UK-based line Me & Em, also, in part, because they are not instantly identifiable, due to a screaming logo, recognizable print or run-of-the-mill silhouette. They’re distinctly cool in that innately London-cool way. And the line has more than just excellent dresses, but tailored, polished separates that I plan on wearing all summer long. You’ll soon be seeing me in this striped crochet, this batik floral, these pinstriped pants, this lace trimmed blouse and these wide-leg trousers. Check it all out here. #AD.

My recent busier-than-usual schedule has demanded a new kind of throw-on-and-go polish, comprised of a tailored blazer, t-shirt and a feminine pleated skirt (seen here).
