For me, warmer weather usually comes with the challenge of finding the newest and cutest pair of white jeans. This season is proving trickier than usual as the current must-have silhouette is distinctly baggier and looser-fitting. I'm good with this new relaxed fit and its inherent ease and comfort--but I won't wear it unless it's 100% flattering! Some people believe that hemlines rise and fall with stock prices. The theory is called the hemline index, and that skirts get shorter in good economic times. Well, I hope summer's mini dress trend portends a future bullish market! My strategy is to invest now and add a few high-yield options to my portfolio, starting with the Valentino on crazy sale, below, this Zara (similar to dress, above), Jonathan Simkhai, Arianne Elmy, Saint Laurent and Goldsign.

Not at all pajama pants are created equal. Translation: some should never leave the bedroom!
