kaia cool
Wednesday, November 18
I'll never be as young and gorgeous as Kaia Gerber, but at least I can dress exactly like her! The supermodel's off-duty attire is rooted in basic denim, under-$100 sneakers, oversized blazers, By Far shoulder bags, and throw-on-and-go coats. She favors straight '90s-inspired jeans from Re/Done (these are her latest go-to pair), Levi's and Celine (also here). Sneakers are by New Balance (also spotted in these recently in Malibu) and Converse (in navy blue!). Coat-wise, it's all about these versions from The Reformation, A Piece Apart, and Michael by Michael Kors.

If you're up for a little bit of escapism (who isn't these days?!), zip over to Ouiwant's story highlights, featuring loads of pics from my recent getaway to Costa Palmas with my sis and super glam jewelry designer Jenna Blake. Prepare for lots of escapist eye candy! And dresses for days, like the Zimmermann, above, that I'm wearing backwards, and the (on-sale) Adriana Degreas floral maxi, below. Jenna Blake's gorgeous baubles can be found here!

week at a glance
Monday, November 16
Might as well get this Monday off to a stylish start--and look to NYC-based Leandra Cohen for a week's worth of WFH inspo. For starters, she doesn't let the confines of her apartment curb her appetite for bold prints and standout flourishes (hello, feather trimmed pajamas, floral blouses, and pink slingbacks!). Her choice of elevated basics is also compelling: pure cotton (read: super comfy) Toteme jeans, Alex Mill men's striped button-downs, a perfectly-cut, throw-it-over-everything Anine Bing army jacket, a cozy fair isle Doen cardigan, and spot-on sneakers (Gucci, New Balance). Plus, her newest staples: Entireworld t-shirts, these ahead-of-the-curve cut-out Gucci loafers, these distressed Khaite jeans, a hard-working Wardrobe NYC double-breasted blazer, and Illesteva glasses. Try to make it a good one, people!

Friday, November 13
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Blursday! Here we go again! However, as we head into the hectic holidays, we can at least indulge ourselves in some more riveting must-watch television (My Octopus Teacher! The Undoing!), masterful pie-baking via Sprinkles Cupcakes founder
Candace Nelson's Pie Pop-Up, a genius online course that will teach you handmade crust and filling perfection (such a good gift idea, too!), Margaux ballet slipper monogramming, above, (yes, please!), Selfridges sale-shopping (20% off EVERYTHING!) including frilly Zimmermann (below), Loewe it bags, and Isabel Marant chic and restorative face-masking with help from 111 Skin's Master Masking Planner! Stay well, everyone!
everyday leather
Thursday, November 12
Copenhagen-based designer Jeanette Madsen works leather like no one else. She manages to make it look everyday easy, subbing it in where casual denim would otherwise be, and the effect is both polished yet practical. (She makes the case for faux leather, too!) Her affinity for relaxed, right-now silhouettes is key to pulling things off, anchoring outfits with leather lovelies like the high-waist tapered pants, below, and the throw-it-over-everything coat, last pic. Inspired, I just snapped up these AGOLDE recycled leather pants (under $300!) to work my own case. I love all the colors they come in.

the long run
Wednesday, November 11
This season's trendy long coats work so well it doesn't even matter what you have on underneath. (Read: grungy sweatpants/pajamas, be damned!) With life much more complicated these days, I welcome this kind of one-and-done, outfit-making wizardry, particularly these options from Stand Studio, above and last pic, Prada (immediately below), The Frankie Shop, OOF, and The Row.

home for the holidays
Tuesday, November 10
With all of us hunkering down at home during the holidays, Santa's elves will be working extra hard this year to bring peace and joy. Perhaps I could help them with some spirit-boosting gift guiding. I'm thinking offbeat, over-the-top things that will make home more of a sweet home. Those bent on glam could indulge in Louis Vuitton's playing cards and pouch (read: wallet!), above, or Birdies' glitter slippers, last pic, perfect for at-home entertaining and social distancing. (BTW: they're ridiculously comfy!) Kids with cabin fever will go bananas over these retro roller skates or the below inflatable snowmobile sled. My bestie Backgammon lover would love the chic leather mongrammed set, below. I personally would like to punctuate my walls with New England-based artist Scott Patt's bold typography prints (my twin sis has the below $25 prints in her NYC apartment). Of further assistance, Net-A-Porter just launched its first-ever lifestyle shop, stocked with the most sought-after splurges (this, this and this) and all things Byredo (I'm obsessed!) that will certainly blunt my stay-at-home buzzkill.
twice as nice
Tuesday, November 10
Meet the new linchpin of my winter wardrobe: Topshop's reversible jacket. One side features plush fleece, the other sleek faux leather. This two-for-one score boasts even more merits, most notably exquisite warmth, easy snap buttons, glove-friendly pockets and endless layering possibilities. Right now, I'm teaming it with other chilly-weather staples, like these $75 gray high-waist jeans, a black turtleneck and ankle boots, but I could easily crank up the cool factor, with this leopard print dress or this floral midi. (P.S. My kids took these snaps!)
