Okay, let's just run away to Australia today. We'll tag along with stylist Romy Frydman on her three-day holiday weekend in Sydney's beachy outskirts and breeze around in the prettiest Zimmermann blouses (above) and dresses (below). Or how about we go shopping at Harvey Nichols in London and treat ourselves to a few winning pieces hard to find stateside like the Regina Pyo off-white blouse, below, this Barbour x Alexa Chung trench coat! We could stay closer to home and tour of Richard Neutra's Glen House, featuring Anthropologie's exquisite Fall 2020 decor collection. I want to make myself comfortable in this chaise lounge or this sherpa armchair! (Also love Amber Lewis' table top collection too, below.) Stay safe, people!

There are lots of things the French are famous for: cuisine, culture, wine, romance, etc. Less obvious but also inspirational is their jean-ious style! They're currently adding a soupcon of sophistication to laid-back denim via a sleek straight-leg, shoe-grazing cut, accented with tailored blazers, trenches, and crewnecks (including the one above here). If you're looking for some civility today, turn your attention to Paris, where Fashion Week is underway, and attendees are putting on an elegant and refined show! Lighting up center stage: statement jackets, sophisticated denim, vibrant, sumptuous textures and boots galore. I'd like to import some of these elevated elements into my everyday, in the hopes of making everything else look LESS like, shall we say, a shit show. What say you? How about this Chanel-inspired Sandro jean jacket (OBSESSED) or pearl-buttoned cardigan, these chic versatile Aeyed boots, this well-priced Coco-spirited Nunoo quilted bag, this crisp Madewell pencil skirt, this gorgeously feminine Borgo de Nor lace dress, and these Parisian-pristine Slvrlake jeans.

My workout endorphins are coming up short these days, their bliss-inducing effects blunted by, well, everything 2020. However, I did find a cheap fix to at least get me up and running more: Amazon's cute, inexpensive line of exercise clothes that's as butt-flattering as it is butt-kicking motivating. The best part: it's sold as a set, with a matching sports bra and bottoms for $30 total. The colors are also bright and invigorating. If anything, at least I'll look perfectly dressed for the part!

I'm heading back to NYC soon to see my family and celebrate my birthday and looking to stylish urbanites Natasha Goldenberg and Charlotte Groeneveld, pictured here, for brisk-fall-dressing inspo. On my packing list: a chic beret like this, a wide lapel coat (similar to above here), The Row's most perfect oversized button down (immediately below), a ladylike denim skirt, an extra large throw-it-over-everything blazer, a ginormous leather bag, and face masks that are New York City-sleek!

Given how this past week dragged on (and on!), it's no surprise that easy shirt-dresses and sweats are on tap for me this Friday. Specifically, the kind that straddles busy Fridays and kick-back Saturdays. Like this Stateside shirt dress or this H&M (the one above is by Closed) , these blazer-friendly Vince sweats or these cotton and cashmere blend wide-leg ones from James Perse. Katie Holmes is wearing this Frame blazer with these Mango sweats, which are sold out, but these are similar.
