There are no party shoes in my plans this holiday weekend. Probably no makeup either! But there are some pretty dresses and standout swimsuits, thanks to my designer friend Marysia Reeves. You're probably familiar with her now iconic scalloped bikinis, but did you know she also makes the cutest dresses (the kind that my sister and I fight over, above!), too? I wouldn't mind making a splash this holiday weekend in something like the Stella McCartney cover-up, above, that's now half-off, along with these Chanel-inspired Zara slides, this on-sale Fendi, these Le Specs sunglasses, and this Montce swimsuit!

Everything about my trip to New York so far has been a literal trip: the desolate airports (on both coasts), the empty streets, blocks and blocks (and blocks) of boarded-up stores and restaurants, the dearth of yellow taxis, zero traffic, etc. It's a strange new world--but it's still my home, and I am happy to be back. I posted this pic yesterday on Instagram and received tons of DM's inquiring about my dress, so I thought I'd share: It's an old denim jacquard by Kate Hudson's eco-friendly line called Happy x Nature (on sale here for $54!). There are other cuties in the current collection such as this floral maxi and this wrap dress. Matchy matchy

I thought I'd wrap up this week with an edit of the most compelling desirables I came across online but did not get to share (photo shoots! volleyball camp! admin! Money Heist binge-watching!), starting with the alluringly chic bandeau tops (above, and also slightly different here) that are currently flourishing on the beach and beyond (under a polished blazer or oversized button-down). The inverse to less eating out these days is more creative table settings at home. At least that's been the case for me and my Erewhon takeout! I love Sensi Studio's exuberantly festive fringed place mats (and how they could make a meal look even more palatable) but I also discovered a few amazing vintage options, like this, this, this, this, this and this!

Quintessential Parisienne Leia Sfez's chic wardrobe wields the bigwigs--Birkins and Chanels aplenty--but perhaps its most powerful player is the humble white t-shirt. Her favorite is a $10 Uniqlo! (I also like the boxy cut!) Now, it's mine, too!
