After tracking Australian stylist Romy Frydman's dressing game all southern-hemisphere summer long (December to February), I've concluded: I want some of what she has! Starting with the just-arrived-in-America Zimmermann, above, which I spotted on her Insta back on December 7, 2018! The above snap, a BTS outtake from our shoot, is a peek at what's to come: a constantly evolving high and low mix of our just-discovered favorite clothes, makeup, accessories, mine leaning more beach, hers gravitating more Broadway, all completely shoppable. My dress is by La Ligne, hers Rebecca Taylor. (Love the tie straps on both!). I sourced her $15 sandals at Target, and she found our new go-to (peachy/springy) red lipstick by Pat McGrath on a recent photo shoot. I swear it's perfection!

My Fri-yay Feels just kicked in with the discovery of these statement-making, wear-with-everything Ulla Johnson sandals on sale (today only!). I love the braided rope and ankle-tie detailing (read: outfit-punctuating). Other too-cute on-sale sandals that I'd wear (warm) day in and out: these very Chanel-looking Tory Burch pearl-studded sandals, these super on-trend multi-colored Havianas sandals ($22!), these ruffled Loeffler Randall slides, and these elegant, barely-there Tibi kitten heels.

Cargo pants are coming back. Again! This time around, they're decidedly more slim-fitting and flattering--more feminine than your old fatigues. I love this embroidered Madewell pair (also the classic and clean version), along with these by Re/Done (similar to above), Topshop, and Le Superbe.

Clearly, Shoshanna Gruss knows how to work a swimsuit--she's been designing her own eponymous line for over a decade, after all!--and accessorize with bonus bling! I am totally obsessed with her vintage acrylic heart necklace by Elisabeth Bell, above, and her shell-adorned Shashi. You know you've found your dream jeans when you want to wear them every freaking day! These straight-leg, mid-rise Mother jeans are everything: super flattering (a friend told me they make my legs look 4K long, thank you very much), super comfortable (read first sentence again) and super versatile (sneaks to sandals to stilettos). They pretty much made my spring break, spent in Sundance, Utah, above.
