LA's warm weekend forecast has me checking out some new splash-making swimsuits, with noticeably more coverage than seasons past, like the (available soon) Faithfull the Brand bandeau and high-waist bikinis, above. Other fresh-looking, flattering options include this sunny seersucker gingham, this crochet-trimmed Solid & Striped, this smocked Tory Burch, this floral Nadii, this polka dot Peony, and this shirred Faithfull the Brand (similar to above).

Not much tops shopping with my sis. Not only does she have great taste and an eagle eye, but she's the equivalent of a human mirror for me. (I make her try on everything before I buy it for myself!) However, when we are separated by times zones, which is quite often due to her work schedule, we resort to joint online shopping via cell phone. Yesterday had us simultaneously poking around at Topshop, where I picked up the above boho floral dress (for $59!) and she, this updated classic trench. Scores all around!

Coming off this seemingly extra l-o-n-g winter, I suspect you, like me, are ready to soak up some much-needed Vitamin D (and Sea). Spring Break, take me away! Like it or not, the segue into spring warrants a few winter hold-overs, namely a statement sweater! Fortunately, lots of them are on sale now. I just snapped up Ganni's open-back pullover, above, at half off, and this striped classic! I also love this tie-back Tanya Taylor (similar to above), this cable knit Phillip Lim, this front-tie Cinq a Sept, and the super cute year-round cashmere Chinti and Parker, below!

This Instagram snap triggered major jumpsuit envy--a one-and-done outfit that's super chic and super easy. I found a cute, almost identical one from Topshop, along with these practical pretties from Red Carter, The Fifth Label, Mara Hoffman, and Low Classic.

For me, warm weather and head-to-toe white go hand in hand. The look is clean, fresh and heat-proof, plus ultra versatile. So, of course, this summer calls for more! I love this wow-everyone Sezanne top and dress, which I can also wear separately and more casually. Also fantastic is this dramatic Cult Gaia (I have it in green, see me in it here!), these perfectly-fitting Apiece Apart white jeans (On sale! I'd wear with a white tee!), this Iro cut-out city-to-beach dress, this Rebecca Taylor jumpsuit, this fringed Zara, this ruffled Thurley, and this boho-chic Mara Hoffman.

For my everyday spring uniform, I am going to take a cue from my sister's London-based stylist friend Alex Stedman and do it up simply but stylishly. All I need are three very versatile things: a delicate, lace-trimmed blouse (like this, this, this, and this); crisp, high-waisted jeans (my faves from Topshop, Levi's and AGOLDE); and barely-there, spring must-have strappy sandals. Alex's shoes are by Topshop. I also like these from The Row, Loeffler Randall, and Sigerson Morrison.
