St. Patrick's Day is bringing me a little luck of the Irish as I nabbed a pair of pants I had been missing all my life! Introduced to me by a friend, these pants are most excellent: high-waisted, super flattering, sharply-tailored, wide-legged, and cropped. But what makes them holy-grail perfect is that they hit exactly--and this is key!--at the ankle bone. (If any shorter, the pants look like high-waters, I think.) Isabel Marant makes the pants, and my friend loves them so much she bought them in three colors--white, black and army green. The only hitch: they're from last summer! I've spent the last week looking high and low for them and finally today I was delighted to discover my four-leaf clover: the pants have just been re-issued this season in black. Hooray! I also found these less expensive stand-in's from J.Crew, T by Alexander Wang, A.L.C. and Vince.

Ruffled shorts are definitely going to be a thing this summer, which works for me because they combine the femininity of a skirt with the practicality of a short. There are loads of good options to mull over, but my whittled-down edit includes these by Ganni, Zimmermann, Acler, Topshop, Misa, and Zara.

I love a blouse that toils through my 9-to-5 but wings after hours-chic. And costs $50! Yesss!

Mango's spring offerings are particularly tempting right now, as they're nailing key trends and right on the money! Take, for example, the $69 rope-trimmed, batwing-sleeved blouse, above!
