You may recall that I bought a Harvey Faircloth military jacket like this last summer and wore it non-stop through fall and spring. This year, I've invested in the denim version, above, trimmed with faux fur and poised to be glued to my body!

Here's another glimpse of my summer vacation style provided once again by my son! My dress is by Storets, hat and bag from Parker Thatch.

I love this dramatic take on the staple white blouse, but, unfortunately, it's from a few seasons ago and sold out. Wah! However, I did turn up this similar looking wrap-like alternative from Need Supply that's actually a lot more office-friendly and, with the right styling, just as statement making. I also found these eye-catching updates on the white blouse from Rag & Bone, MLM Label, Rosie Assoulin, Tibi, andStorets.

Deep into shorts season (and the best beach read so far!), yet I'm already tempted to put on a pair of new fall pants. They're more fun looking than ever, most notably because they feature whimsically tricked-out hems, accented with ruffles, slits, rosettes, tassels, cuffs and contrast trims. My favorites are by Gucci, See by Chloe, Cinque a Sept, Cedric Charlier, Fendi, Pixie Market, SJYP, Jour/Ne, The Reformation, H&M, and Zara.

Speaking of exceptional summer moments, Shopbop just launched its end of season sale, and I must tell you that this just might be the best one yet. As you may recall, though I come from a family of photographers (my father and two of my sisters), I don't consider myself all that handy with a camera. Fortunately for my kids, the gene does appear to have generation-skipping capabilities, as the photo above, taken by my 3rd-grader, suggests. I love it! Credit also goes to my new Storets romper for helping me blend in with resplendent mother nature. My hand painted basket bag is by Parker Thatch.
