With my Instagram feed flooded with postcards from faraway locales, I'm reaping loads of amazing outfit ideas for my travels ahead, such as the throw-on-and-go Rachel Comey jumpsuit, above. Clearly, this kind of thing can take in Paris' sights, but it would also hop happily around in Honolulu. Bare both shoulders and throw on some heeled sandals and you're good for a night out in New York! In other words, my kind of jet set jumpsuit! Other travel-ready options I love: this tangy linen Reformation dress, this free spirited Club Monaco romper, this shorts-to-skirt friendly J.Crew top, this day to night Helmut Lang dress, this fringed BB Dakota mini, and this Ministry of Style jumpsuit.

I'm on the hunt again for the perfect white t-shirt, this time for the newly emerging oversized silhouette. Slouchy in the shoulders with nearly elbow-length sleeves, this trendy tee looks as if it were borrowed from a boyfriend--and yet it still possesses the ease and versatility of fitted t-shirts past. So far, I'm considering these options from Christopher Lemaire (pictured above), A Gold E, Rag & Bone, BP, Topshop and James Perse.

After a three-week work stint in New York, my twin sister came over last night for some catching up, cocktailing, and--sorry, we can't help ourselves!--online shopping. First, we explored the greatness that is the Isabel Marant sale on The Outnet, stocked with the designer's signature boho-feminine dresses, sandals and skirts. Highlights include this broderie anglaise dress, this belted cotton jacket, this ruffled party frock, these sandals and this pleated leather mini (pictured above). Then we moved on to the blingy Chanel sandals (below) on sale at Barneys, which we had to call in to purchase, as they're not available online. My sister opted for a simple t-strap pair in black that she had seen on a friend and cost $395. Impossible to resist, right?!

An invite to a friend's birthday party this past weekend called for "upscale casual" attire. I interpreted that to mean a vibrant, above-the-knee dress with flat lace-up sandals. Turned out everyone else translated that into more formal long dresses and heels. I did survive, and though everyone looked amazing, I am inclined to stick with my interpretation, which would also include the chic look, above: a mix of fancy (a Stylekeepers billowy top) and relaxed (cropped Madewell chinos). I definitely have the casual in my wardrobe nailed down, but could always use some more outfit-elevating tops. So I tracked down these goodies from Style Mafia, Club Monaco, Endless Rose, Theory and Tibi.

Friyay earns its moniker today with an assist from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, just replenished with more new fall-ready options, including these staggered hem Frame jeans (similar to above), this spot on burgundy Sam Edelman boot (yes, the vivid-hue shoe trend marches into next season!), this Topshop camo jacket, this Alice & Olivia print caftan, and this Tibi jumpsuit. Check it all out here.

The retro-looking slide may be this summer's go-to shoe, but to stand out in the crowd, I prefer one in a fresh and unexpected shade. Think anything but black and rather rust, red, or patent leather pink! Those more neutral leaning should consider slipping into grey suede (above), or wear-everywhere taupe. Pair with cropped jeans (like this, this, this, or this) and a relaxed button-down and you're good to go!

My heart yearns for this lacy Zimmermann--which blogger Jessica Stein, above, beautifully wears backwards--but, even though it's on sale, my wallet shudders at the price. Thankfully, a similar, less expensive version from Jen's Pirate Booty just popped on Shopbop and, what's more, it's designed with the seductive crisscross detailing in front!

Some of my close friends refer to my closet as the Lending Library. In they go to pull a few articles of clothing and days later return them, dry cleaned and good as new. Turns out I've just discovered my own library. It's called Armarium, and this New York-based mobile app allows you to borrow pieces from an expertly curated lineup of couture, ready-to-wear, and accessories, along with the option of hiring a professional stylist to assist with day-of dressing needs. Last week, I put Armarium to use (minus the stylist!) and borrowed the new and already sold-out-everywhere Peter Pilotto dress, above. The dress retails for $1660, but I rented it for 4 days for $250. Armarium focuses on major statement dresses, and inventory is constantly updated, so there's always something new to wear! To check out this "library" and download the app on your phone, click here. P.S. Use the code LECATCH15 to get 15% off your first purchase!
