3. Reformation necklace, $398, reformation.com

pre-spring break
Monday, March 24
A few weeks ago, I got a head start on spring break—a dress rehearsal, if you will—down in Miami. My starring costume? The breeziest, button-down Free People dress, above, which racked up more compliments than a puppy on a long leash. When I got back, I passed it to my twin sister, who whisked it off to Puerto Rico and now Palm Beach. At this point, the dress is having a longer, more luxurious spring break than either of us—I'm just waiting for it to start sending postcards! (See more of its adventures on my Instagram Stories!)

springing up
Thursday, March 20
I actually set an alarm for 7 AM PST this morning—which is saying something—because I didn't want to miss the exact launch time of H&M's new spring collection. It’s packed with those right-this-minute effortlessly cool pieces—soft ruffles, flowy silhouettes, and that elusive "I just threw this on" vibe. Honestly, the pieces are so good no one will believe they're from H&M. I snapped up the yellow ruffled tunic, below, these white studded jeans, and the Chloe-esque lace-up blouse, above. I’d suggest pouncing before it disappears faster than my motivation after hitting snooze.
craving chloe
Wednesday, March 19
Back on September 26, 2024, I knew Chloé's jelly ankle strap sandals were destined to become the next it shoe. Featuring a feminine ankle strap, a delicate kitten heel and a design that equal parts refined yet playful design, they strike the perfect balance between bohemian charm and modern sophistication. Their arrival couldn't be more perfectly timed either--just as The Row's caged jelly flats have had their moment in the sun (and spawned too many good, inexpensive dupes!). It should come as no surprise then that they are nearly sold out at My Theresa, but you can pre-order a pair (for delivery sometime in May!) at Bergdorf Goodman. I bought the neutral "Sunny Brown" color, above, but the pastels are pretty and very wearable too! P.S. If you are looking for a fantastic (and affordable) dupe of the other Chloe must-have, the cropped suede bomber, last pic, step right up here!

la resilience
Friday, March 14
We should have been celebrating under the bright blue sky in Pacific Palisades. Mother Denim’s new store was supposed to open alongside La Double J’s first outpost in the neighborhood—a double debut that promised to bring a fresh jolt of creativity and style to MY sunlit stretch of coast. But fate had other plans. Both stores burned before they could even open their doors, the promise of their unveiling reduced to ash. And yet, there was still something to celebrate. Over a decadent pasta-filled lunch at Alba in West Hollywood, the tables dressed in vibrant La Double J linens and eye-popping florals, we gathered to toast the just-launched La Double J x Mother Denim collaboration. In short, the collection is a testament to joy and soulfulness: embroidered jeans that whisper of craft and care (and scream flattering!), boldly printed blouses and dresses alive with swirling color, and vintage-feeling sweatshirts that wrap you in a kind of nostalgic California-cool comfort. Each piece radiates personality—a playful, defiant wink in the face of misfortune. The mood over lunch mirrored the collection itself--energized and delightfully warm Its essence—the idea that beauty persists even when plans unravel—seemed to settle over the tables like a quiet benediction. For me, the occasion was a reminder that true style isn’t just about what you wear—it’s about how you rise. How you show up! Here's how we did--and a few other ways I plan to in the near future: this, these and this! Happy Weekend!
