While scrolling through my morning Instagram feed, I came across the above pic of makeup artist Gucci Westman's cute new iPhone and iPad cases--and immediately ordered some for myself. Turns out you can custom design the cases here, with a hand-picked mix of vibrant icons (I chose a striped t-shirt, of course, along with a rainbow, palm tree and others, and included my name). P.S. This playful patch-inspired trend is also popping up on bags (see below, find here and here). Another compelling idea: placing these faux leather letter stickers to personalize an overnight duffel or leather diary. Getting crafty over here!

My sister recently returned home from a work trip to South Africa and brought back a few gifts for me, including a not so indigenous pair of Topshop track pants. While I was at first flummoxed by this souvenir, I am now grateful as I have been running around in these Topshop-via-Capetown pants non-stop. And as fate would have it, I am not alone. The peeps in Paris are preening around in track pants by Chloe (above, last pic). I could also do daily laps in these pairs by Vetements, Adidas, and Monrow.

Parisian fashion-goers may be flitting around on fumes after a month of show-going, but they're not yet low on style, as evidenced here. However, all the trophy jackets they're trotting out makes me think they're cutting corners, because they simply have to throw one on and, voila, they're dressed. I'd like to employ this very same effortless-dressing strategy in my non-Paris-runway-show-going but still very hectic life, with the following jackets by Truth & Pride, Sandro, Dries Van Noten, Rebecca Taylor, Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs and Zara.

With fashion month now in full swing, the puffer has re-emerged on the runways—in every size, shape, color, and crop imaginable, and is unexpectedly cool. Could the puffer be the It coat come next winter?
