While it seems everyone is on vacation (hence my intermittent posting!), not everyone is off their style game, particularly Russian stylist Natasha Goldenberg. Her off-duty look, captured in these recent Instagram snaps, is anchored in comfortable yet decidedly chic pieces, such as statement-y jackets (the one, above, is by Chloe), ankle-grazing caftans, boyfriend jeans, and gorgeous flats. Together these pieces effect citified polished mixed with laid-back ease. My favorite example: the hand-painted Burberry trench, pictured below, with open-toe beach-ready sandals and a ladylike Goyard. I'd like to emulate Natasha's style with effortlessly chic jackets like this color-blocked Iro, this Asos trench coat, and this army green NLST topper (similar to the one in last pic), standout flats like these metallic Superga sneakers, these leopard print Steve Madden sandals, these Prada tasseled beauties, and these gold accented Nine West sandals (for $19!), and if the temperature permits, this Jen's Pirate Booty cover-up, this 9Seed Tulum dress, this Indian print Banjanan and this Figue caftan.

If not, you may want to pounce on the post-Christmas sales, offering crazy deep discounts, like at Yoox, where things are marked down up to 99%! Yes, you read that right. I'm tempted by this sheer, sexy, south of the border-ready Missoni dress and this winter-cute Miu Miu jacket. Shopbop's sale is also chock full of goodness, such as this flirty Keepsake romper, this utilitarian BB Dakota parka, and these Kate Spade moto boots. Bergdorf Goodman has a robust assortment of next-season-perfect shoes, like these beauts from Prada, Gianvito Rossi and Givenchy, all reduced by 60%. Over at Nordstrom, I'm seriously loving this edgy cool leather jacket by The Kooples (40% off) and this python print Michael Kors dress (60% off). Last but not least: the gorgeous pink winter wonderland-perfect jacket from Whistles, pictured above, is on sale here and here.

This morning I was talking with a friend about her upcoming trip to Mexico and she asked me what she should pack for her trip. (Um, pack me?) For those of you who are about to jet off to sunny climes, here are the newest, cutest poolside-perfect pieces I'd bring: these about-to-sell-out lace-up K Jacques sandals (next summer's must-have!) or this similar-looking Isabel Marant pair; several statement one-piece swimsuits such as this crochet She Made Me (pictured above) and this halter-style Acacia; along with a few stay-on, standout bikinis by Lisa Marie Fernandez (so chic!), Mikoh (the back is almost better than the front!) and Topshop (love the scalloped edges and stripes).
