Like it or not, culottes are officially the new must-have pants for spring. I know, I know these cropped wide-leg pants can make one look wider and shorter. But, there are certain pairs that actually flatter the body and they all share several attributes in common: they are less structured and rather more fluid and skirt-like in nature. Also, the less wide the pant leg is, the better, and a leg-elongating heel is always a good teammate, though a (pictured above) proves pretty, too. Silk ones are the best at transitioning from day to night, and I think they're the most comfy as well. My favorites are by , , , , and .
