Chic summer dressing means just the right amount of skin-baring: an exposed shoulder, a little leg, some decolletage. But this season, it's all about the back. I'm inclined to work this trend with these backless wonders by Saylor (similar to above), Stella McCartney (which I recently wore to a Malibu bash!), Giamba, Victoria Beckham, Asos, Club Monaco and Theory.

An overnight girls' trip to Napa this week provided me with some much needed meditation time, communing with nature, and pajama partying. I also reaped some amazing fashion inspo, thanks to my friends who trotted out their newest spring dresses, fresh-pedicure revealing sandals and sun-shielding hats and sunglasses. All of the finery got me excited for my own warm weather wardrobe --along with key season pieces I now know I need more than ever. I am neither French or going to south of France this summer but I wouldn't mind looking like a French girl in the south of France this summer! Similar to the woman, above, in a strikingly elegant yet effortlessly chic off-the-shoulder dress. A frock that could from a day of seaside frolicking to an evening of Domaine Ott-ing.
